Buyers want to walk into a clean home and not feel “dirty”. Clean thoses nook and crannies including wiping down the baseboards, replace the A/C filter and make it smell fresh. Nobody wants to smell pet and smoke odor.

De-Clutter
Less is more. When a room is crowded with stuff, it becomes visual noise. Limit the knick knacks on display and keep surfaces de-cluttered. Purge closets and storage areas so the space shines.

Curb Appeal
The exterior of a home gives the 1st impression. Many Buyers will drive by a home 1st before setting an appointment. For a small investment, pressure cleaning and fresh landscaping goes a long way to get the potential Buyer inside the home.

Maintenance
Make small repairs. If trim work is missing or damaged, repair it. If doors or cabinets are missing knobs, replace them. If electrical covers are missing, add new ones. Most Buyers are looking for a move in ready home so a well maintained home comands top dollar.

Natural Lightr
Let the light shine in. Open the curtains and/or blinds, including opening or removing hurricane shutters to brighten up the room. A dark room feels depressing and dingy. A room with lots of natural light feels happy.

Service Records
Have good records showing when expensive items have been replaced or serviced. Buyers will want to know the age of the roof and of all the mechancial items such as A/C, water heater, and appliances.
